Chester’s answer to Big Ben has been gnawing at me for a while (since childhood!) but I think I have the answer. Easily one of the cities greatest landmarks and certainly showcasing one of its best colour palettes too! This is a not so run of the mill view of the cities visual calling card and coaxes the viewer in. Now I know I’m all about simplification in my work but there are some things which need a certain amount of detail by default. With that in mind this one has been challenging to work on but I really think it portrays the wow factor that one gets rounding the walls to be greeted by something which looks like it was created in the same steampunk factory as Chitty Bang Bang!
